As a Senior Modern Workplace Engineer, you will be the driving force behind the design, implementation and optimisation of modern workplace solutions. You will ensure that our colleagues have secure, efficient and compliant access to all the systems and applications they need to be successful. Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to translate business requirements into smart technical solutions.
• Configure, maintain and improve Workplace platforms and devices such as Office 365, Intune, Windows and MacOS.
• Analyse and solve problems at the source (root cause).
• Improve and automate packaging processes via Intune.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with other teams and suppliers to develop new solutions and guarantee the functioning of the platform.

Together, we ensure that our colleagues throughout the organisation – at head office, in stores and in distribution centres – have secure and seamless access to the tools they need to do their jobs. While we pride ourselves on our service-oriented and supportive approach, we also maintain a strong focus on automation to minimise repetitive manual tasks and continuously improve efficiency.

• 5+ years of experience in the Modern Workplace domain.
• Hands-on experience with Office 365, Intune and packaging for Windows and MacOS.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and a good command of English.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with an eye for detail and a strong drive to continuously improve.

• You design, implement, and optimize modern workplace solutions. You configure and maintain platforms such as Office 365 and Intune, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• You make sure colleagues have secure and efficient access to systems and applications, enabling them to work at their best and helping Jumbo deliver excellent service to customers every day.
• You work in the multidisciplinary Workplace team within Platform Engineering. Together, you create a secure, user-friendly digital workplace and focus on automation to make processes smarter and more efficient.
• You collaborate with Product Owners, other IT teams, and external vendors to develop solutions, resolve issues structurally, and continuously improve platform performance.
