As a Competence Architect IAM & Workspace, you play a key role in designing the digital work environment of tomorrow. You ensure that our thousands of colleagues - at headquarters, in stores, distribution centers, and working remotely - have secure and seamless access to the systems they need. Thanks to your vision and expertise, we are building a future-proof work environment that supports innovation, collaboration, and scalability.

How do you do that? By establishing a clear vision and making sure that vision becomes reality. You help our IT organization embrace smart technologies and actively drive innovations that make a real difference. You work closely with product managers and engineering managers - following our ‘three-in-a-box’ principle - to make the right decisions together.

As a Competence Architect IAM & Workspace, you focus on topics such as:

• Ensuring that the right people have access to the right resources at the right time, for the right reasons: store employees, logistics staff, office workers, and external parties.
• Developing and managing a clear IAM architecture, including (de)provisioning, RBAC, SSO, and MFA.
• Improving processes around onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management.
• Establishing a scalable and user-friendly digital workplace strategy.
• Optimizing self-service, automation, and user satisfaction within our workplace solutions.
• Ensuring compliance and security, and guiding technological innovations and migrations.

As a Competence Architect, you’ll be part of our friendly and driven “Architecture family” at Jumbo. Domain architects focus on specific business domains and ensure the best IT solutions are organized within those areas. You, as a Competence Architect, look across those domains from your area of expertise – IAM & Workspace - and identify opportunities to develop smart, reusable tools and solutions. Together, we ensure that Jumbo continues to grow and innovate with pride and enjoyment.

• A broad interest in IT landscape, with in-depth expertise in IAM and digital workplaces.

• You effortlessly switch between strategic thinking and pragmatic execution.

• You are a connector, persuasive, and able to align diverse interests.

• You have experience with IAM solutions (such as Azure AD / Entra ID, Okta, One Identity) and tools within the modern digital workplace (Microsoft, Intune).

• A solid educational background and work experience in relevant areas.

• You likely hold at least a university degree and have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

• Courage, curiosity, and energy to thrive in a dynamic environment.

• You design and safeguard the IAM and Digital Workplace architecture. You ensure secure access, scalable solutions, automation, and compliance, and guide technological innovations and migrations within Jumbo.
• By creating a secure, user-friendly digital work environment, you help colleagues work smarter and more efficiently. Your work directly contributes to smooth business operations and an improved customer experience.
• You are part of the “Architecture Family” and work across domains. Together, you develop smart, reusable solutions for IAM and workplace environments, with a focus on innovation, scalability, and collaboration.
• You work closely with product managers, engineering managers, and other architects following the “three-in-a-box” principle. Additionally, you collaborate with internal teams and vendors to realize vision and strategy.
