•  Designing and managing Azure landing zones, with a strong focus on scalability, security, governance, and self-service capabilities.
• Configuring networking and core Azure services, including virtual machines, load balancers, Entra services, and virtual networks.
• Monitoring infrastructure and optimizing for performance, reliability, and availability.
• Implementing robust security practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance controls.
• Keeping pace with the latest Azure advancements and industry best practices.
• Ensuring seamless integration of cloud services to create a future-ready digital environment.

Together, we are Jumbo: Where you'll work
The Cloud Infrastructure team is leading the development of Jumbo’s Azure landing zone—an important step in building in-house expertise in cloud infrastructure. As part of this transformation, we’re also focusing on enabling self-service capabilities. This will boost developer efficiency and support our platform engineering goals. By forming our own dedicated team, Jumbo is investing in deepening its internal cloud knowledge.

Collaboration is at the core of our approach. We work closely with domain-specific cloud engineering teams to support over 60 DevOps teams. Together, we deliver essential infrastructure building blocks tailored to their unique needs.

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure.
• Strong understanding of Azure and Entra services, including virtual machines, networking, and security.
• Solid knowledge of networking concepts, from VPNs and subnets to firewalls and load balancers.
• Coding skills to help with automation of internal processes (Python is our main language, but we also use JavaScript). You don’t need to be expert but must be comfortable with coding beyond bash scripting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• You design, build, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure. You ensure security, performance, and scalability. You implement governance and self-service capabilities, making Jumbo’s digital platforms reliable and future-proof.
• By creating a stable, secure, and modern cloud platform, you enable a seamless omnichannel experience. Customers can easily shop online and in-store, increasing their loyalty and satisfaction.
• You work in the Cloud Infrastructure team, which focuses on developing Jumbo’s Azure landing zone. Together, you improve internal cloud knowledge and create self-service solutions for developers and platform teams.
• You collaborate closely with more than 60 DevOps teams, domain-specific cloud engineers, and external partners to deliver infrastructure that meets their needs and supports Jumbo’s digital growth.
