As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you make an important contribution to Jumbo by further developing and optimizing our Salesforce platform. Our platform supports crucial business processes — from customer contact to the supply chain, and therefore we are looking for the best developers.

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you are part of one of our scrum teams. Each team has all the skills needed to implement a user story from A to Z. Your agile team includes developers, QA engineers, a functional and technical administrator, and a Product Owner. Together you work in two-week sprints.

At least 8 years of experience as a Salesforce developer, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment
You are a software craftsman. You care about clean Apex code and promote best practices and software development principles within the team. The code you write is delivered with tests. TDD is not required but encouraged
You have in-depth knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud, as well as Apex, LWC (Lightning Web Components), Flows, and Salesforce integration capabilities via REST/SOAP APIs
You are used to taking an active role in architecture discussions and contribute to scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions. You work closely with stakeholders and ensure alignment between technical and business goals
You have one or more Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I & II)
You enjoy mentoring your team members: reviewing each other’s code, learning from one another, and helping less experienced team members develop their skills
- You develop and manage Salesforce solutions, write clean Apex code, perform tests, participate in architecture discussions, and help design scalable solutions within an agile environment.
- You build reliable Salesforce platforms that support Jumbo’s internal and customer processes, enabling our teams to work efficiently and providing customers with an optimal experience. The goal is to become the friendliest supermarket in the Netherlands and Belgium.
- You will work in a multidisciplinary scrum team consisting of Salesforce developers, developers, QA engineers, a functional and technical administrator, and a Product Owner. Together you deliver user stories from A to Z in short sprints.
- You coordinate with other IT teams, business stakeholders, and users. Together, you ensure solutions align with Jumbo’s business goals and support digital growth.
